What is required to learn to ride?
The only requirement to ride is that your child can ride a bicycle without training wheels and without assistance.
How old must my child be to attend?
There is no specific age, however, your child must be able to ride a bicycle without training wheels and without assistance.
Can I ride my own bike and bring my own gear?
You are allowed to bring your own gear. But you are not allowed to ride your own bike.
What equipment am I required to bring?
You do not have to bring anything. All safety gear and clothing is provided by us. However, we recommend that you have your child in a base layer such as a Nike dry-fit, Under Armour heat gear or any type of moisture wicking material. This type of clothing helps to keep you cool on hot days and makes it easier to take the gear off.
Is the equipment shared and if so, how is it sanitized?
The equipment is shared throughout the year but not during the same day. Your child will have clean equipment when they arrive to ride. All equipment is cleaned daily. Uniforms, pads and helmet liners are machined washed after each class.
Do I bring water or snacks?
Drinks and snacks are provided, but feel free to bring what ever you choose. Just keep in mind that proper hydration starts the day before.
Is this a group lesson or private lesson?
All lessons are done in groups. If your child is falling behind the pace of other students, we will assign one of our coaches to privately assist your child.
Are safety protocols taught?
Yes, our first lesson is based on safety which explains the importance of protective gear and why it must be used at all times.
What if my child crashes?
If your child crashes, we check on them, dust them off and give them the option if they wish to continue riding or not. 98% of children will opt to continue riding.
What if it rains?
If it rains and the track is too muddy and unrideable, you will be issued a refund or raincheck, your choice.
